How long does a battery generator run?
It depends on what you plug in. Here are rough examples of how long each size runs, using each setup's average power draw and starting from a full charge.

What's in each size?
Small is one power station, about 3.8 kWh. Medium adds one expansion battery for about 7.7 kWh, and Large adds two for about 11.5 kWh. Need more than that? Tell us your equipment list and we'll add batteries or units to fit.
How do the batteries connect?
Each battery links to the power station with a cable, and it charges and discharges through the power station, so there is nothing extra to plug in. We connect and test every set for you, so all you do is plug in your equipment.
Do I have to move the equipment myself?
No. The power station weighs over 100 lb and each battery is around 70 lb, so our team handles drop-off, placement, and pickup. Tell us about stairs, gates, or soft ground when you book.
Can a battery generator power a wedding?
Many wedding setups, such as DJ sound, uplighting, a photo booth, and a cooler, fit within our sets. Send us the equipment list from your vendors and we'll recommend the right size, with extra capacity so you don't run short.
What can I plug in?
Each power station has standard 120V household outlets, a 240V outlet for heavier equipment, USB-A and USB-C ports, and a 12V car socket, and it supplies up to 6,000 W in total. Send us your equipment list and we'll confirm the plugs and any adapters you need before your event.
How is this different from a gas generator?
There's no engine noise, no exhaust, and no fuel to buy or haul. We deliver it charged and pick it up afterward. You can use it indoors or under cover.
Are the units really quiet?
There's no engine. Under a heavy load a unit may run a small cooling fan, which is far quieter than a generator.
Can I use them indoors?
Yes, with the venue's permission. There's no exhaust, so the units can run indoors. Keep them dry, ventilated, and away from flammable materials, and don't use them where the temperature is above 104°F. At outdoor events, set them up under cover, since the units aren't waterproof.
Do the units arrive charged?
Yes. We fully charge and test every unit before delivery, so it arrives ready to plug in.
What if power runs low during my event?
We can bring you a fresh, fully charged unit during your rental. Each swap-out is a $50 delivery fee, and your rental rate stays the same, including any multi-day pricing. Call or text us at (424) 359-9630 and we'll schedule it. Or, with our approval, recharge it yourself from a wall outlet at no charge.
Can I recharge the unit myself on a longer rental?
Yes. Ask us first and we'll confirm it suits your setup. Use the AC charging cable we supply and plug it straight into a standard wall outlet, with no extension cord or power strip, in a dry, ventilated spot, under cover if you're outdoors. Leave any batteries connected and plug in only the power station. A Small unit takes about 4 to 5 hours to recharge, and larger sets take longer. Or skip the charging and add a $50 swap-out.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout Los Angeles County.
How far ahead should I book?
We need at least 24 hours' notice for all bookings. Weekends and weddings fill up, so book earlier if you can.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 2 hours before your scheduled delivery for a full refund. If you cancel within 2 hours, we charge half of one day's rental rate for the equipment you booked ($67.50 for Small, $112.50 for Medium, or $150 for Large) and refund the rest.
How do I pay?
We send a Square invoice for 50% to confirm your booking. The other 50% is due at delivery, by credit card or Apple Pay.
Who is responsible for the equipment during my rental?
You are, from delivery until pickup. Please keep the equipment secure and protected from weather, theft, and damage. If it is lost, stolen, or damaged, you are responsible for the full cost to replace it. The refundable deposit does not limit that responsibility.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes, if we approve it in advance. Contact us before your rental ends, and we'll email you an extension agreement to sign.
What if no one is there when you come to pick up?
If no one is available at the scheduled pickup, we add a $50 missed-pickup fee to your bill and contact you to reschedule.
Is the equipment location-tracked?
Yes. All of our equipment is location-tagged, which helps us confirm deliveries and pickups and recover equipment if it is lost or stolen.
What is the deposit?
A refundable card hold, returned when the equipment comes back undamaged. The deposit is not a cap on what you owe. Replacement costs are listed in your rental agreement.
